When I was a child, I was crazy about soccer. During my primary school, I used to come to stadium to enjoy the game such as Galatama. It was my wonderful childhood in Surabaya when the city had legendary team, namely Niac Mitra. At that time, the team was a bit the dream team, off course don't imagine such team either as Arsenal or Real Madrid during nowadays, at least compared to another Indonesian soccer club at that time Niac Mitra was among the top one, if not the best. During the team's triumphal era, it was Fandi Ahmad, a Javanese-born Singapore, the youngster star who entertained not only the team's fans but also the local residents. Did you know that the team had ever beaten the London-based Arsenal on friendly match in 1983 in Gelora 10 November Stadium Surabaya? Well, that's the story. Another story is, by accident I found this and if you want to recall the classic match , perhaps Spain 1982: Brazil vs Italia was among strongly suggested one.

Actually, this news is not really new 'cause some of you may have already known it. The story is, during last month I can't help missing The Indonesian oldies song as I have hardly kept in touch with them since my journey begun in Japan 6 years ago.
